The first Jersey All Pro Wrestling Light Heavyweight Champion was crowned on December 5, 1997 in Bayonne, NJ when the “Nature Boy” Rik Ratchet defeated Chino Martinez, winning a tournament to decide the first champion.

    – Rain was stripped of title as he retired from wrestling on July 1, 2003.

    – Title was declared vacant on September 12, 2014.

    – defeated Bandido Jr, Lucky 13, Marq Quen, and Mikey Webb on November 15, 2014 in Rahway, NJ.
    – On November 12, 2016 Blk Jeez vacated the title.
