The first Jersey All Pro Wrestling Light Heavyweight Champion was crowned on December 5, 1997 in Bayonne, NJ when the “Nature Boy” Rik Ratchet defeated Chino Martinez, winning a tournament to decide the first champion.

    – Billy Reil was stripped due to injury and declared vacant on November 17, 2000.

    – defeated Trent Acid and Ric Blade in a #1 Contender’s match on November 18, 2000 in Philadelphia, PA.
  6. Ric Blade
    – defeated Nick Berk on February 3, 2001 in Philadelphia, PA.
    – Ric Blade was stripped of title due to an injury on June 16, 2001.
  7. Nick Berk
    – defeated Chino Martinez and Billy Reil in a battle of former champions to win the vacant title on June 16, 2001 in Philadelphia, PA.
  8. Low Ki
    – defeated Nick Berk on July 7, 2001 in Philadelphia, PA.

    – won due to stipulations of a match with Low Ki and Homicide on August 18, 2001 in Philadelphia, PA.
    – Xavier was stripped of title due to an injury on September 29, 2001.

    – defeated Ghost Shadow in a #1 Contenders match on September 29, 2001 in Philadelphia, PA.

    – defeated Deranged on December 7, 2001 in Bayonne, NJ.

    – defeated The Insane Dragon and Homicide on February 2, 2002 in Bayonne, NJ.
  13. Rain
    – defeated Dixie on January 18, 2003 in Woodbridge, NJ.
    – Rain was stripped of title as he retired from wrestling on July 1, 2003.

    – defeated Nick Berk and Monsta Mack in the tournament finals on August 2, 2003 in Rahway, NJ.

    – defeated Azrieal on February 28, 2004 in Rahway, NJ

    – Teddy Hart was stripped of title due to a “no show” on June 17, 2006.

    – defeated Jay Lethal and AJ Styles in a 3-Way Dance to win the vacant title on June 17, 2006 in Rahway, NJ.

    – defeated Jushin Thunder Liger on May 15, 2011 in Philadelphia, PA on the NJPW Invasion Tour 2011.
    – Title was declared vacant on September 12, 2014.
  27. Blk Jeez
    – defeated Bandido Jr, Lucky 13, Marq Quen, and Mikey Webb on November 15, 2014 in Rahway, NJ.
    – On November 12, 2016 Blk Jeez vacated the title.

    – defeated Azrieal Conor Claxton, Joey Janela, John Silver, JT Dunn, Pinkie Sanchez, and Steve Scott to win the vacant title on November 12, 2016 in Rahway, NJ.
