JAPW 10th Anniversary Show Results
OCTOBER 2007
Official JAPW 10th Year Anniversary Results from Saturday night October 27, 2007 at the Recreation Center in Rahway, NJ.
At this time JAPW management would like to apologize to the fans that were not able to sit & had to stand during the show due to the fact that the facility only had seating for 1,000 & there was over 1,200 plus fans in attendance last night but still stayed for the entire show!
We did also open the rear bleachers to try and accommodate everyone. The official attendance came in at 1,244 and we would like to thank the new street-team and everyone else that helped promote this event all over the surrounding area.
The fans packed the main bleachers from wall to wall, the back bleachers were full and there were a couple of hundred fans still standing during this historic event.
Before the main show, the first class to the JAPW Hall Of Fame was honored by fans and JAPW alumni alike. JAPW Commentator Mark Clemson hosted this special look back on the careers of 4 JAPW pioneers.
TNA Superstar Jay Lethal inducted Former JAPW Superstar & Wrestling Academy trainer Magic.
Monsta Mac inducted “Dirty” Don Montoya.
Jonny D., The Haas Brothers manager in JAPW, inducted Charlie Haas
JAPW Promoter, Fat Frank Iadevia, JAPW Alumni Ray Sager & former stablemate of the Hass Bros., Dixie inducted the late Russ Haas.
JAPW returns to Rahway on Dec 8, for Seasons Beatings!
Quick Show Results:
1. Bboy won the Best of the Light Heavyweight's 10 Elimination Match, defeating Bandido Jr. and will have his very last match with JAPW on Saturday night December 8th for Seasons Beating's 2007 as he is retiring from the Squared Circle.
Manager Jonny D came out with Kevin Matthews who was upset over the fact he was left of the show. Out came The Christopher Street Connection who, well, um you know, attacked poor Kevin CSC style. This then brought out fellow stable mates HAVOC & MAC who then simply beat the CSC to near death!
2. "Dangerous" Devon Storm returned to defeat Danny Demanto. After the match Demanto thanked JAPW Management for letting him have a chance to show his skills in a wrestling match rather then sending out someone that would just wipe the mat with his face as in the past with likes of New Jack , The Sandman and Axl Rotten.
But Danny’s streak of Anniversary show incidents would continue as LAX member & TNA Superstar Hernandez came out and helped keep the tradition alive. Homicide was at ringside with his LAX partner during this massacre and the crowd went crazy for Hernandez as he killed Demanto with a wicked Border Toss.
3. Former WWE Superstars CRYME TYME defeated the reunited Dirty Rotten Scoundrez in tag team action. The roar from the crowd was simply amazing as thousands of fans were chanting “Money, Money, Yeah, Yeah!”
CRYME TYME also raided the ladies locker room and sold some of their undergarments to the fans in attendance. Look for this to air on japw.net very shortly.
4. The Leader of BLK OUT Eddie Kingston defeated Drake Younger. Eddie Kingston was seconded by SWB and the numbers game was simply too much for Younger to overcome.
5. In a clash of TNA Superstars, Frankie Kazarian defeated AJ Styles. It's simply amazing how Frankie is so over with the JAPW faithful, as they spurred him on to a victory over the “Phenominal 1” with the Wave of the Future.
6. TNA X Division Champion Black Machismo & The “Suicidal Demon”Azrieal defeated Rukus & Sabin of BLK OUT. Before the match, Azrieal came to the ring alone and told Ring Announcer Steve DeAngeles that Jay Lethal had to be called away from the show unexpectedly, but he had a replacement partner that was willing to take Jay’s place. The opening bars of “Pomp and Circumstance” came over the speakers and out came “Black Machismo”.
7. Sara Del Rey beat Nicky Roxx but was then rewarded with a GORE THROUGH A DOOR from TNA Superstar Rhino after the match.
Rhino & Manager Jonny D grabbed the microphone and stated that no other matches would take place until The Necro Butcher comes out because they don't want to wait anymore! The Necro Butcher came out to chants of "NECRO! NECRO! NECRO!" as he and Rhino brawled all over the building. Rhino won the match with a vicious gore.
After the match , an enraged Necro Butcher got into an alteration with the special guest referee and former Suicidal Champion “Lowlife” Louis Ramos. Necro and Ramos had to be pulled apart by security.
8. Archadia beat Reefer in a ladder match to win the JAPW NJ State Championship. This back and forth contest saw both Archadia and Reefer pull out all the stops as they used the ladder in almost every way it could be used. The finish of the match came when Reefer grabbed the title from it’s perch, but Referee Matt Bennett did not see Reefer grab the belt due to his being temporarily blinded by some powder that Archadia “accidently” threw in Bennett’s eyes. When his vision cleared, He saw Archadia with the NJ State Title in his ands and awarded the match, and the championship to Archadia
9. In what will be a match that will be remembered not only for it’s great technical battle, but for it’s historic reverence in JAPW, TNA Superstar Homicide forced Senshi (Low Ki) to tap with an S.T.F. This is the first time Senshi has ever submitted in a JAPW ring.
After the match BLK OUT attacked Homicide. Homicide then asked JAPW Promoter Fat Frank Iadevia for a match with them next month, Frank then said, “If you all want a match, why wait? Let’s do it now!” as the crowd erupted!
Frank then added a few stipulations to the match. If Homicide was pinned by ANYONE, We would lose the title. If Hernandez were to be pinned LAX would lose the tag team titles. If any member of BLK OUT were pinned they would have to leave JAPW after just finally arriving there.
During this Brawl the Light's Went Out! When they came back on Homicide's mortal enemy, Teddy Hart, was standing in the ring to the shock of the standing room only crowd.
Teddy then laid the “Notorious 187” out and hit him with the "Hart Attack 2.0" spinning elbow drop.
In a shocking development that created more questions than answers, Hart then placed Senshi (Low Ki) on top of Homicide for the pin. Since Fat Frank said that if "Anyone" pinned Homicide, they would become JAPW champion, Ref Sean Hanson had no choice but to count to 3 and with that, Senshi had regained the JAPW World Heavyweight Title!
Senshi was still hurt from his grueling match with Homicide, but limped off with the JAPW Title as his “Family”: Homicide, Hernandez and Bboy were left to wonder “what happened?” in the ring.
What the hell is going on here?
JAPW management then called an emergency meeting right then and there in the locker room.
Was Hanson in the right by allowing Ki to pin Homicide? Since Fat Frank did say ANYONE THAT PINNED THE 187 WOULD BE WORLD CHAMPION, the decision would now stand, TNA Superstar Senshi is the new World Heavyweight Champion once again only minutes after losing the title!
Fans were left to wonder if Senshi (Low Ki) should surrender the Championship back to Homicide?
And if he doesn’t, is he now aligned with BLK OUT, or is there something else going on in the mind of the “World Warrior”?
Is Teddy Hart back in JAPW for good, or was this a one time attack on his biggest nemesis?
