Hybrid Wrestling has always believed in promoting from within, but no one saw it coming when Jimmy DeMarco was promoted as the new image consultant. It’s a move that left everyone in attendance and industry insiders scratching their heads. On the surface given Jimmy DeMarco’s reputation, the move doesn’t seem to make much sense. It seems like every week a new story about Jimmy DeMarco is posted on various message boards and websites. Some of the more famous stories consist of Jimmy DeMarco chasing a promoter around a locker room with a machete. Another story is that Jimmy DeMarco bled all over a group of kids at a charity show. Another story involves a box of feces. At this point, what hasn’t been said about Jimmy DeMarco? Even with all these negative stories and urban legends Jimmy DeMarco has continued to reinvent himself. So who better than Jimmy DeMarco to help reinvent the image of Hybrid Wrestling? The only question remaining is how the decision was made to promote Jimmy DeMarco to image consultant, and that’s what we asked Brian Grachek.
“When Jimmy walked into my office my plan was to not only fine him, but suspend him.” Grachek told HybridWrestling.com
“I was told about a promo Jimmy DeMarco taped after Any Given Thursday. Jimmy bad-mouthed the company, management, and the venue. After viewing the footage I called Jimmy and told him I needed to see him in my office later in the week. After talking to Jimmy I realized he’s just misunderstood and frustrated. Jimmy DeMarco is a straight shooter with upper management written all over him. I offered him the job on the spot and he accepted. The two of us have since mapped out the direction of the company and it’s a very exciting time for everyone involved in Hybrid Wrestling.”



Dave Cole will return to Jersey All Pro on August 1st to defend the Hybrid title against Dustin Rayz
